Tesla Model S Review: Full Tech Guide
We finally get into Tesla and the high tech of Elon Musk’s Electric Car company.
The Tesla Model S is an all-electric saloon that combines amazing performance with zero emissions, a luxurious, high-tech cabin and bags of refinement.
Compared with the likes of the Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6, the Tesla Model S is like a Gibson self-tuning guitar in the company of acoustic guitars.
Whilst the Model S might not make any engine sound, it does have supercar performance to scare even the mightiest Arab prince.
You wouldn’t know that this Tesla has the pace to put a Lamborghini to shame by looking at it but its reputation is like an urban-legend that needs to be seen to be belived.
Inside the car is a huge 17-inch touch-screen display that dominates the cabin and controls all of the Model S’s functions. The benefit is that having nearly everything controlled through the screen results in fewer buttons in the cabin.
There is loads of space for yourself and those passengers to get comfortable and the boot is large and easy to load thanks to its handy hatchback-style opening.
The Model S is the first of a generation of electric cars that Tesla has built on to grow over time; the Model 3 being the most successful Tesla in terms of sales yet.
But in terms of speed and cost the Model S takes the crown.
